Library Orientation: First Year Students

1. Complete the Digital Library Orientation

• Audience: First year students in English classes
• Levels: Navigator 1, 2, 3
• Length: 90 minutes
• Includes slides, interactive activities, exit tickets.

2. Teachers register for a Passport to the Next Level class visit on the Library Events Calendar.

• Passport to the Next Level sessions occur in the first few weeks of the school year.

3. Attend a Passport to the Next Level library session.

• Audience: First Year English students. Class visits.
• Level: Passport
• Length: 45 minutes. (One full regular class period.)
• Format: Students get their passports stamped as they visit activity stations in the library.
