April is an eventful month! Join us at the library for:

National Poetry Month. Enjoy a poem of the week selected by library TAs and library staff. Poems will be on display around the library for your enjoyment!
Earth Day. Explore eco-activism, climate change and environmental science titles on display at the library.
Youth Voter Registration Day @ CVHS Library Friday April 18th. The Alameda County Registrar of Voters will be at CVHS Library to register students and answer questions. We may have a guest speaker and DJ, not yet confirmed. Stay tuned in to the library for more information. Flyers will be distributed to teachers about class visits. Save the date!
Love My Library Cleanup Event. Sign up for the April 29 event on the library events calendar. Teachers, paras, students, administrators - all are invited!

Lost and Found last call and free cycle weeks

Lost something? The last chance for students to find their stuff is next week. After that, the lost and found at the library will wind down for the year. Students will be invited on a needs aware basis initially to take whatever they can make use of from the lost and found. 4/28 - 5/2. Last Chance to find your stuff5/5 - 5/9. Needs Aware FreecycleLower income students may visit the library and take any items from the lost and found they can use. If you have your Student Aid Index on the FAFSA, present a screenshot of it to library staff.5/12 - 5/16 Free for All! Return Books by May 9!

Students and staff, please check your lockers and classrooms and return your library books. It's that time of year!Inventory week begins early this year, and we want to make sure all books are returned for inventory. Once inventory is complete, the Library will announce its summer reading program and reopen for summer check outs....
