Join us at the library for a Sgraffito Gallery Walk.

March 25, 26, 27

Don't know what Sgraffito is? Come learn about it. Ms. Bittner's ceramics classes have put on a wonderful art show for you. This is a wonderful opportunity for your students to learn new vocabulary to critique art. Participating classes will be treated to a museum-like setting, with soft jazz music. Students are provided vocabulary, notecards to leave messages to the artist, and an exit ticket to help us improve the gallery walk experience in the future.

Registration is open now!

Register on the Library Events Calendar.

Hurry, space is limited to 75 people per period!

Registration is required and is first come, first served.

  • Teachers, bring your classes to a gallery walk! Students can learn to critique art with new vocabulary and leave their thoughts about each work (in written form) with each artist. Standards-aligned activities are available at the library for your students' experience.

  • Students, if you wish to visit on your own (independent of a class) you are welcome to come.  Register for the event in advance and get a pass from your teacher! Students must register in advance (before coming to the library) and must bring a pass from their teacher.
